The story of the clones is that they are all the same, yet different. That they carve out individuality for themselves in an army where everyone looks and sounds alike and came from the exact same, manufactured background. The point is that even though they are clones, clones are people, as Lucas said. And the Force resides in them, like in all living things. They are all different on the inside. The point is to recognize humanity in them. The point is that they are all family and brothers, with the deepest bond, because they all grew up together and despite being different, they are one. None of that can be achieved with conscripts. They all look different, sound different, and come from different backgrounds, etc - their uniqueness and humanity is a given. They are not family, not brothers. You call Lucas retarded, yet you can't comprehend such a simple thing.
