Japan is one of the largest consumers of make up in the world. The US market doesn't count because all the US does is buy surplus from other countries which either sits in warehouses or in shell company ledgers. The fact that Japan is #2 in consumption without the exorbitant privilege of the world reserve currency and illusionary consumerism propping it up tells you it's the real deal.
