I don't think confucianism has much of a use outside of a chinese cultural context, it's pretty specific to chinese cultural norms and customs, you can take some moral lessons from it sure but most of it only applies to china, it's important to understand though if you want to understand chinese culture though, daoism is a lot more individualistic so it's a lot easier to apply outside of a chinese context, that said daoism is kind of gnosticism tier meme status, I don't think people nowadays take daosim too seriously, it's more like people just enjoy it because it's funny

in terms of dates sure theravada and catholicism were first, then mahayana and protestantism followed later, but in terms of content and practice mahayana is like catholicism (populist), and theravada is like protestantism (fundamentalist)
