I looked at some of the lore scaling for Doom and I find it utterly bizarre.
He kills the Icon of Sin and God-Satan, and there is some lore that says "they can threaten the multiverse" or some shit, but in game and canonically he just shoots them to shit and then stabs them. He doesn't actually do anything to really justify that multiverse feat like tanking or generating an attack that could destroy the universe.
The Matrix of leadership destroyed Unicron who can destroy the universe, so does that mean Optimus can destroy the universe? I don't actually know the answer to that, there could be some G1 comic that says he can actually do that.
It's like saying Fred Dibnah could beat any professional athlete in a fist fight, because he knocks down factory chimneys and therefore is building level strength while an MMA fighter is only athlete level strength.
The whole scaling and Power Tier thing the Versus community has going on is weird to me sometimes.
