ah, gotcha. for that kind of work you'd want to know the pipeline that your camera uses, no? since there are some things that, when done in different orders will yield different results? at least that's what I grasped from a video I watched on the pixel pipeline. (I'm brand spanking new to processing and editing and also poor so I'm forced to use open source software until money isn't an issue anymore)
