Nothing will change unless you start blowing up politicians and rounding up judges who act against people.

Voting for the same swamp is certainly not a way out.
It takes seconds for a moderately-sized gathering of people to overpower police goons and disarm them.
Minutes, to swarm a police station and disarm them, and then store away all weapons and other equipment far away.

Either you'll recognise them as an occupation force and act accordingly, or continue allowing yourself to be conned until the total collapse of the state.
Nobody in the future will remember that you were 'polite citizens'.
