First time in an Eggers thread, I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking he has lost his edge a bit. His first two films were concentrated hyperkino but he's in danger of becoming generic. The draugr fight in The Northman was stupid as fuck and completely pulled me out, and I didn't care for screeching jumpscares of Nosferatu running down the hall with his cock out, it cheapened it a lot

I'll always be interested in his films because of the cinematography and period authenticity but him being like
