Now that you say that, the first techs I started teaching arena folks were Knee Charge into the air and deploying Scout midair and suddenly boosting away. Rockets are all splash on the ground, so just don't be on the ground. Idaho's Charge is great, I have like 40 permits because I didn't ever wanna be without.
My second favorite was sandjumping, which is like sandwalking, but you jump with knee charge over wormsign and force it to reset, and you can just cross open sands like that and have a much smaller draw distance than vehicles. And also you sound way less pretentious when you explain it than fremen.
The third, getting out of your scout at 850 altitude AND pocketing it mid-air without letting it fall, then falling silently all the way down onto whoever's beneath with rocket launchers, or, to them, suddenly appearing on top of their vehicle with a handy dandy Black Lasgun.
People are not in a rush to open fire on their own allied vehicles.
The latter I've done for nearly three weeks now, but I'd always just openly ask 'Who are you?' so I know if it's one of the problem people or not. I have gotten at least two yelps on voice and often did not end in actual combat. But because only gankers are left, carriers are pretty easy to land on top of. They also can't really flip to shake you off with a crawler on board.
Just in case any of you out there want to be dedicated haters, too.
But in all seriousness, I play at peak hours then ultra late night (aka morning) but now even 4am to 7am just has no lifers with less life than me, making sure no one on server gets any spice. They're literally treating ganking like a job. They'll just watch pristine spice fields at a distance and wait for people to come to collect it and never gather it themselves. No lazy late night melange for me.
I do what I can but I am but one man. I'm no leader. I just wanted to invert some buttholes and laugh on open mic.
