Back when I was Muslim I thought about moving to a Muslim country (there were people who could help me move and would help me with that) and joining a serious sufi tariqah (not like the haqqani naqshbandis or those tariqas in america/western europe).
I ended up leaving the religion after a few years and now I'm more or less indiferrent to faith. I don't know where I would be now if I remained in the religion. Probably better and "doing something" with my life. Now I'm a NEET without much to do in life, just drinking all day.
I think it might be good for you, but be aware of all the politics and strife that there are in those religious spaces, even in the serious ones. There are hagiographies where saints talk about how they were mocked and persecuted by "lax" people in their monasteries.
