I've realized that loving young women is dangerous. They are so beautiful for so long, in so many ways, that it can seem as if they are perfect. But actually youth and beauty do not last that long, and no matter how good a person's outward manners, their true character eventually shows.

It's dangerous to invest your heart in a person whose outward appearance you take to denote an inward innocence. The truth is, it's painful.
