Gaslighting is a manipulation tactic used by individuals with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Gaslighting is twist the reality. If a narcissist have a red pen on his hand and he tell you that is blue, that's gaslighting, because the narcissist is doing a micro scale a 1984 (Orwell's novel) , because tomorrow said "blue" pen could be purple or pink, and the gaslighther narcissist will use shame, guilt and even triangulation to make think to the victim that said pen is whatever color he want. Final goal of gaslight is break the self trust of the victim in order the narcissist can excuse himself for whatever he wants.
