I thought there had to be a reason because if a store is struggling no one will go through the trouble of nicely wrapping a slice of bread in plastic and labeling it... They'd just cut off 100 grams of bread for you at the counter and wrap it in news paper...
Funny thing is that inflation is not talked about in USA, but I feel it's much more of an issue here.
One of pic related in a "normal" grocery store? Just ONE.... 235₽+tax+tip.
I haven't had my favorite apples in several months because I am too stingy to pay 1.100₽ for 9 Honey Crisp apples.
At least eggs are no longer a problem
