The reason people can see stars is because they're much closer than claimed. If they were super duper far away the inverse square law and rayleigh criterion would make it so that the night sky would be just a general blur of light.
You can only resolve stars into an image because they're within the limits of your vision and no superman, you can't see forever kek
Oh and gravity as you believe it has never been proven to exist, has problems that dismiss it entirely, etc. Personally I believe the atmospheric electric field drags electrostatic matter down with it as it flows to ground like how a stick floats on a river going with the flow.
