>a single "world government" for all the nations they controlled.
I don't see anything wrong with that (Universitas Christiana) as long as it was better from what existed before.

Also, I wouldn't use the word "cultural", but you're correct on the trade aspect. By the 1700s, this trade allowed normal citizens (like humble widows in the Andes or Yucatan) to invest in the Galeones de Manila, which paid dividends after each trip.

Why don't you go around Peru and tell every poor and homeless Peruvian that their suffering and death (which anglos created with the balkanization of Spain) is better than them having a life with food and happiness??

>gave us land and gibs
The Hispanic Empire secured your people's claims to the land, and had documents to back it up. The reason your people can waltz to state and federal courts, and not being outright killed, is because you have documents with the signature of the King of Spain... even if you don't know about this.

Also, the Hispanic Empire created the 6-hour work day in the global economy. Not to mention all the free hospitals, schools, and churches established for you. Lastly, why don't you talk about Los Caminos Reales that connected, and enabled you to travel between, Alaska and Patagonia?
