Sorry, anon. Lucas created Star Wars, he created the prequels, he created the clones, he created The Clone Wars, he created the inhibitor chips. I think the guy who created it all in the first place has a better understanding of what it is than you, or some mentally ill bitch like Karen Traviss. Just like Tolkien knows better about Middle-earth than the people at Amazon. This is a pretty reasonable assumption to make.

It was a secret pre-programmed directive issued by Darth Sidious, which prompted the same response across the entire clone army, "It will be done, my lord", indicating that the clones are programmed. There are no lords in the Republic. Guess you should have paid better attention.
