depends on what you mean by developed i guess, but i don't think there is a big difference. i did experience that japan was way behind when it came to IT and digitalisation of services when i first moved here. could barely do any banking or paperwork online at all back then, but they've improved a lot in recent years. not sure how things have developed in sweden recently since i rarely go back.
