At the very moment that President Trump was complaining about Vladimir Putin not being invited to the G7 yesterday, Putin had hundreds of missiles and Iranian made drones flying through the air towards civilian targets in Ukraine.

He dropped cluster bombs on Kyiv, destroyed a special needs kindergarten in Odessa, blew up apartment buildings, killed and mamed dozens in a country whose only crime is not having surrendered to an unprovoked full scale invasion.

Meanwhile, he dispatched his Defence Minister back to North Korea to beg for more bombs from the world’s last Stalinist dictator.

Have we lost the capacity to be shocked by this evil, and the apparent indifference of the US Administration to it?
