you can throw (almost) as much Hz as you like at the problem, it still won't beat crt clarity (at 60Hz) as the issue is more fundamental than that (and that's assuming you can even render your games/media at 240fps, remember, running a game at 60fps on a 240fps lcd will produce the exact same motion performance as an lcd at 60Hz)
