Gentlemen, /a/, people of 4chan, I have come to a conclusion. As first pointed out here >>280568989, it appears there is an alternate site that exists as a separate layer over the regular site. This is what allows for the spam with no cooldown. This also allows for the moderatos to identify protected threads/posts. I've noticed since the hack, that specific threads, that are clearly offtopic, are allowed to say up site wide, and are clearly protected in some fashion. I also believe it has become too great for the mods/jannies to handle, and any attempt to point it out is met with ignorance and deflection.
