Not sure how she expects to get about not knowing a lick of japanese. Living there, especially young, you'd pick it up pretty quick. Maybe not the writing/reading, but the spoken.

The concept is cute but only really works in manga form. The VA for Lily is very inexperienced and keeps shifting between valley girl and a poor british accent. Her delivery is very flat and lacks any real emotion. Not to mention many of the phrases she says are not what a british person would say.
