no, I just have no patience for watching pawns slowly walk from one room to another and open/shut doors before using shit when they could just have an open floor plan (even my IRL house doesn't have walls and doors between the kitchen and dining room I'm not fucking building them in my edge-of-the-universe frontier colony fighting off raiders daily....)

I usually stick with like 4-5 pawns for most of the game as well which means just having a nice bedroom/kitchen/dining room/workshop and adjoined laboratory is plenty.
