This amulet is designed to suppress entropy and force as much energy into the product as possible. That's how why cyclops canons don't shatter on use. Half of what would have been the explosion's vibrations is forced to be inertia in one direction, or so I've heard. This one got overloaded and broke.
Hopeful: "Anyway, I am honored to experience such compassion. I suppose I'll have to repay it by...living on with my heavy memories and seek more atonement. I hoped all the pain I ever felt could be over in one great swoop, but now I feel like that wouldn't grant fulfillment. As for you, the lamp will draw in whoever it feels needs you the most.
