"I imagine Tsubasa Kawana in the light music club’s "what-if" scenario as a drummer who’s like the final line of defense in a special-forces band, burning with the mission: “I’ll protect the rhythm section!”

But the rest of the rhythm section is made up of:
Kako Tsukumo (bass), who’s usually quiet but tends to rush ahead during live shows,
and Ima Tsukumo (her younger twin), who jumps in right after her the moment Kako starts speeding up (they even play the same instrument!).
So Kawana is likely carrying an insane amount of pressure.

Unable to handle the daily stress, she storms up to club president Sumino and demands,
“Why are those twins the rhythm section?! This is the definition of putting square pegs in round holes!!”
Only to get met with,
“Well, no one else would take them… Please, I’m begging you, just look after them a bit longer…”
Then ends up getting all the responsibility dumped on her again, stomping her foot like, “Ugh, come on…!”

Day after day, she suffers mental wear and tear from being constantly pushed to her limits by the shockingly free-spirited twins.

But then comes today—July 3rd.

“Kawana-senpai… h-happy birthday…!”
“This is from me and my sister! You said you wanted new drumsticks, right?”
When Kako and Ima surprise her by celebrating her birthday, she’s so touched she tears up.
“These twins… they’re actually good kids at heart…!”
And just like that, she’s emotionally won over.
