i replayed swsh recently after sv and lemme tell ya it was one of the worst fucking experiences. outside of stable fps it has NOTHING going for it.
i like to use alternate starters for second playthroughs so i chose lunatone (actually got a full odds shiny on the first egg) and hitmonchan. i didn't struggle on a SINGLE fight and it genuinely made me kinda mad, but other than that

>slow as fuck despite more stable framerate
>terrible music outside the gym leader theme
>pokemon popping in underneath you
>literal dumbest fucking enemy teams, both are pointless
>stiff as fuck animations in AND out of battle
>new gimmick is just megas but worse
>almost every new mon design is bad
