My thoughts on the consequences of Israel's 12 day war against Iran in the context of Ukraine:
◾The main conclusion: the global arms race will get even stronger.
◾Global instability will increase until a new and functioning international law system is put in place.
◾Russia has once more proven that it's an unreliable partner.
◾Both Iran's (Russian air defense systems were not reliable) and Israel's air defense systems showed that nothing provides 100% safety. No one in the world can feel safe now.
◾Russia feels its impunity and will continue its war of attrition against Ukraine. Russia will continue trying to take as much territory as it can and claim it as its own.
◾New European military alliances will support Ukraine.
◾If there will be no just solutions in the war of Russia against Ukraine, even in case the war stops, the situation will turn into a frozen conflict that can start again at any point.
As of now, the international law doesn't work. The rule of the strong works and pressure is put on those who are weaker. Each country acts in its own interests.
Ukraine must unite with Europe based on common interests - building a defense union against Russia and making Europe stronger.
