Subsurface scattering. It's supposed to be a subtle effect that only shows up on less dense, thinner material. Tekken 7 and 8 has it set up to where the entire body seems to be made of thin flesh. They fixed it for the male characters in tekken 8, but female sss profiles are still busted.
