> It's good for France because this allows them to keep R&D going. They're building a stealth loyal wingman - type UCAV for the Rafale that's interesting
Picrel indeed !

>The FCAS on the other hand (6th gen fighter jet program) already looks troubled. It's a joint development with Germany and Spain so this can only go one way really
> It's a joint development with Germany
Last time we tried to developp something in common with germs was the Eurofighter, and the germs tried to force us to give them some of our patents, we said fuck no, they were angry, threatened us, and then we said ok, bye, and onto developping the Rafale...

The germs are once again trying to coerce us into giving them our patents, we said fuck it don't remember what happened last time you tried that, few weeks later Olivier Dassault died "conveniently" in an helicopter crash, but we still have a new CEO that is well aware of the perfidious nature of the germs, almost even worse than the Brits (if it is even possible / cheers to bongs reading this btw, be sure to held our banter high cousins !)
So when I am reading "this can only go one way", I am mainly thinking of some repeat going our own way once again because of germs behavior...
Ps: The germs already have left quite a big part of the SCAF program "leaked" to turkey as their new aircraft program looks like a copycat of the SCAF in many ways shape or form...
Troubling germs can't help themselves...
They would be better sticking to F-35 and the likes, having the biggest fleet of it in EU...

We are loosing time in development due to their shenanigans as usual...
sigh...

Thanks Greekfren nonetheless for bringing forward such relevant info ITT ;)
