YES! i've always loved bright eyes and the vast majority of conor's work, even the country-tinged stuff. he was like, a big celeb crush of mine at one point.

but yeah, it's really difficult to revisit that mount eerie album. it's simultaneously super relatable and also really grossly voyeuristic. genuinely heartfelt, achingly beautiful art that is also just... thoroughly not something to consume. i dunno. hard to articulate.

one more gift because i'm on a music ramble now... this album is very, very special to me. no stress if you don't dig it though, it's really dense and abstract and if you don't like weird folky stuff it might not be your cup of tea. just always really happy to be able to share it.
