What would it look like? Is a successful uprising even possible if revolution by vote is undermined.
The scenario of independent citizens taking up arms does not seem feasible beyond the scope of dismantling local or state government; on condition there is no federal involvement.
If a state government were to face a forced change in regime, would it be recognized and tolerated by other states and the federal government?
The second amendment is often touted by some as an answer to tryanny. Is it enough? Does an armed populace have any chance without being an organized force?
To that end, does the populace have a realistic ability to organize against the federal government at all? Conduct warfare beyond small unit tactics?
SIGINT? HUMINT? Establish any intelligence capabilities at all? It would seem individuals divorced from the states are doomed to fail.
Citizenry aside, no actual state has it's own intelligence agency independent from the federal government.
How succsessful would a coalition of states be? Is another bout of secession the most likely way revolution is to manifest?
