Kirei runs at bullets because bullets ain't shit to priests in TM, least of all when they're equipped with magic
he has bulletproof priest robes and can slice bullets faster than a machine gun can shoot them, he instantly kills Kirtsugu in like 2 exchanges but plot armor revives him, and even after that, with Kiritsugu breaking all physical limitations to move his body at 4 times the speed and he STILL can't keep up with the body you get from good christian values

the anime doesn't go into as much detail but at one point Kirei punches off a contender shotgun shell as it's coming out just to prove he can (it breaks his hand, but he STILL has the upper hand one-handed), the only reason he loses is because he took longer to wake up from the Satan-Dimension
