I guess I'll give it to the train ride. Calling something like trails when it doesn't even get the basic things even cold shit got right is retarded though. but then, even falcom doesn't understand their own franchise why would some hongooligan?

A lot of them are, but that isn't the end of the world if the moment to moment part of it is wonderful and that's what trails writing really excels at. There are better stories out there with tighter themes and better executed characters, but very little will spend time going out into the weeds and enjoying the background without losing sight of itself. Even my favorite game, sky, falls off pretty badly in SC though it still finishes at about a 7/10. but if you are there for the comforting feeling of playing summoner knights with your autistic grug friend or asking your rich friend if having the ancient soul of a 3000 year old super mecha drives the price down of the noble province they used to hang around in before they became air pirates then it's amazing.

Over all I already found stories that do everything trails does better, but that doesn't make these other stories an infinite well and I WANT もっと
