I think they probably have access to exactly the same amount of information the Revolutionaries had before Sabo infiltrated Marijoise, including knowledge of stuff like the Gods Knights. If anything Teach scarring Shanks intentionally seems off, like if he tested if Shanks was a Gods Knight (and had the regen we've seen them have).
