Also, it's a little different for Falco and Fox, because they had to record a bunch of new lines that didn't exist in Star Fox. Like in Star Fox, they don't vocalize getting hurt, or performing a kick or what have you. They only pop up on the screen to deliver spoken lines. But Marina has all the grunts and shouts already. All they have to do is copy and paste them into Smash.
Smash bros wasn't even consistent with JP or EN voices. As they got Rachael Lillis to voice Jigglypuff. You don't hear Jillypuff shouting "Pu-Purin!". And of course Mario is an English speaker. And the announcer is an English speaker.
