I think a lot of you talking about being dead don't realize how expensive decent grave plots or stones are, or how horrific and demoralizing the process of cremation is. They literally have to put your burnt bones into a blender.

The holocaust story was able to gain traction because at the time, most Americans didn't know how cremation worked and that, no, actually it doesn't turn you into fluffy wood ash that just floats away. It just dessicates your skeleton and chars the rest so that they can scrap it up and dump it into an industrial blender/rock tumbler so you get the ridiculous bag/box/urn full of shiny little grey pebbles.

Without stopping half way through to smash it up with garden tools and that last step, its just a burnt skeleton.
