it is very true that most people just dont even understand what they are talking about, i have seen this firsthand with industry professionals who have spent decades working with creative software.

but there will always be the ones bitter about the use of people's work for training, and i think the environment line will continue even once the conversation turns to local/open source, of course that is retarded itself considering i was already rendering shit in 3d all day long already

it just really sucks to see how my peers are acting in all of this. i dont blame people who are bothered by the "general attitude" of "artists" about "AI." I understand the fear, i felt it too. but its gone too far

that's good to hear. i dont have any people close to me who are open to it. i know they are out there, though, and i know over time the vitriol will subside.
