My home con from last year
>I spend literally a fucking week leading up to it, doing nonstop prepping and calls and arrangements
>In 5 minutes of arriving already swarmed with people who wanna talk or take pictures
>Shocked that I'm already drained by an hour and a half into day 1
>Told about "the party plans" that night from two people, wonder how everybody's gonna make it
>Gets late, notice literally every group I know is standing outside, they all start forming together
>Realize the two parties were the same room, but people phrased it differently
>Line out the door, booted immediately
>Host has a second room so no problem
>Second attempt goes off without a hitch, everyone tastefully sauced without going off the deep end
10/10. Plenty of other stuff in there too, like hosting my first panel ever to a VERY crowded room.
