You handed some condolence money to a receptionist after you entered, just as the previous guests had done before, and the two of you lightly bowed to each other, again mimicking what had happened prior. This condolence money was called koden, and it was in an envelope specifically made for these occasions. There wasn't much, only an odd amount of copper and silver coins. Ayane insisted it would be inappropriate if you gave any gold, considering you had already given so much to Ai and Eisho and her family as a whole, despite how you assumed that you would need to give some actual gold to them since you had so much of it now.
The receptionist, also a kitsune, gave you a small box— a koden-gaeshi, was meant as a 'return gift' for the money brought. It contained salt, tea, and some snacks.
Eventually you get to your seat next to Ayane, in the area that's for the family of the deceased.
>Try to speak a little about Aneko when in front of her grave, as some others are beginning to do.
>You heard a few people talking with each other. Maybe you can make some connections here, or at least meet new people. (Speak with those you know and let them introduce you? Talk with others you don't know?)
>Just continue following the traditions and be respectful. You didn't come here to mingle. (Will lead to the next action of the day)
