I can be outside all day with 0 sunscreen and not get burned. The only issue with shirts like this is you have to buy XL and then cut thumb holes in the sleeves. The back of my hands were getting super wrinkly from sun exposure, because hands are the one spot that is nearly never covered up. After getting shirts with thumb holes, the hands are finally healing.
