there's not many good places to move to, anymore. everything's turning to expensive shit
i just pirate nintendo games. i was gonna buy a switch 2 to save for homebrewing later, but 450 for a nintendo console? i'd rather eat a lego. game companies don't care about making good games, they shovel off games that they believe will make a quick buck and then fuck off to another game. i dislike money, a lot. then, they have the gall to say "anyways, we're increasing the price to 70 dollars because of inflation or something lol idk i'm a rich asshole give me your money :)"
to be honest, i haven't seen many triple-a games be the talk of the town for a couple years, always been indie games. which is good!! the industry needs to go back to what it was before, made by people who enjoy making games for people who enjoy playing them.
