nta but Dorothy herself reduced Pinne to that coping mechanism when she made her tulpa of her which is why that Pinne doesn't even act or talk like the actual Pinne. Just a way for Dorothy's actions and ideas to bounce off of someone who'd agree with her. That's not to say that Dorothy didn't become actual friends with and care about Pinne for the time she knew her, but her perception of Pinne that stuck in her mind isn't accurate.
