Fighting games made sure I would never try to go to a video game event again. The first time I ever went to a public and local venue to play SFV and GGXrd I had 3 people in a row that were just loud and obnoxious rage gamers who sucked the entire fun out of the event because I just let them win so I wouldn't have to deal with someone literally cussing and throwing shit around right next to me.

That was like 10 years ago and I haven't played any fighting game since and have no intentions of doing so because every time I look at the community to see if it's better, it's always worse. Like literally always worse. Rampant amounts of meta abusers, black people talking like they're niggers in the ghetto, trannies inserting their troon fetish into everything, an unending amount of "who fucked who" drama and just all around a miserable community to be a part of it looks like.
