I graduated high school as Class of '06.
NEVER did I get off that early.
Grade school, middle school, high school, military, private, public... I got to school sometime before 8 a.m., and the EARLIEST school ended was maybe 3:15 p.m.
BUT THEN
I went to CLUBS.
Music, orchestral, football, track& field, swim & dive, rowing, theatrical, journalism, student governing body, bowling, film, you name it and I tried it at some point. None of my schools had combat clubs, but I did attend more than a decade of different martials arts, too. Those clubs lasted HOURS and I didn't get home until after sunset most of the year.
And I loved it.
