unironically i think it potentially made things even worse because at least those 2-3 mainstream porn sites that got banned are, ironically, the sites that are mainstream for a reason and generally maintained/moderated (even if overly so in PH's case). sending teens and people too illiterate to figure out bypass methods down the pipeline of obscure 2nd page porn sites with hordes of unverified videos that are barely moderated (this includes twitter) i have always felt is going to be a recipe for disaster in the long run
