Right now the Spartan Program as gained in the AFTER ACTION REPORT full trust and Command/ONI decided to immediately expand the budget of the Program.
That means Halsey and Mendez will be far more trusted and listened to, and they are giving them more power. They are the ones that transformed this program in to a reality, a reality that is very effective and deadly. If you are High Command or ONI and want more Spartans ? Or even better ones ? Now you need to listen.
In regard to Spartans II, they have shown to be very intelligent and tactically minded so their opinions will definetly be heard even by officers that dont like them, and will very much be listened by Command and ONI. Their success is immense and cannot be denied by anyone. More importantly, both Mendez and Halsey very much listen and are willing to help their not-kids in anything they might want to do. And the cherry on top ? Promotions, commendations, medals and other military honors are about to rain on the Spartans like rain in a monsoon season. I wouldn't be surprised if Sven, John and Kurd jump two whole ranks up in the military hierarchy same for others like the spartan teams leaders. Even if Sven might jump even higher in rank.
