First half of this abyss is a cryo shield boss, a boss with over 5 million HP and 70% dendro RES, and another cryo shield boss
Second half is two waves where dendro is fine and then a boss that is functionally impossible to kill without either Natlan unit spam or 2+ cryo units on team.
Dendro teams haven't had any true support since the end of Sumeru, and haven't gotten any support at all outside of the Emilie + Kinich combo since the start of Natlan, where powercreep generally rose through the roof.
Raiden's problem is that she's been powercrept and no amount of support can fix the fact she's just not that good to begin with. Zhongli's problem is that he's no longer the only real choice for a shielder now that Citlali exists. Arle still works, she just got powercrept by Mavuika. Raiden still works because the Abyss generally isn't that hard numerically, but she's really aged poorly and having 60% DEF ignore doesn't make up for her multipliers not being that great anymore. Not to mention her extreme reliance on using bursts when they're shoving wayobs down our throat and the new endgame mode starts you at 0 energy is a noticeable problem.
