It's funny to consider Kaido was the exception the rule
Kaido lived with his kid for pretty much their entire life and took personal interest in her growth, even training her in Bonk-Fu (or at least bonking her so much she just naturally picked up on it)
He hated her Oden-autism but still played along with it and even tried to get her set up as the Shogun of Wano following the New Onigashima plan and took it quite personally that his own child hated him

Kaido wasn't the nicest guy but there are way worse dads in the story
