Yeah it certainly sounds like you’ve become the exact adult i always pitied and worried I’d grow up and become - just a miserable old sack of shit, bitter at the world, every drop of dopamine and seratonin wrung out of his brain. I used to look at adults like that and worry that was all of our fate - just to be an old asshole that thought that being a professional adult and eschewing all joy and childhood was the only way to be.
