I would've agreed if umas weren't hard capped by IRL numbers AND if they had the same appetite as baseline humans. (If they did it'd be magic at that point anyway)
But you pay for that enhanced performance with a massively increased logistical burden, for something that is just as squishy as a 50 year-old librarian pushed into service. World War 1 was the apogee of the defense, and even umas wouldn't appreciably change that fact at the macro level, nor does it change logistical realities. They would certainly be an integral part of the development of offensive doctrine and technology; umas being able to make better use of trench armor and be more suitable candidates for infiltration tactics. The advantages of a mechanized force would still be too overwhelming to delay the phaseout of cavalry (umas) from their traditional roles more than a few years, if any.

I'm reminded of an anecdote from the Easterm Front, where an attack by a bunch of 6 foot plus gigachads, the elite of the Imperial Russian army, was stopped cold by a trenchline of geriatric near-blind reservists with machineguns and barbed wire. A good example of the nature of warfare going forward.

Let's not forget the extra dimension of them being women. By the time of the 20th century, there would be no doubt some kind of social movement against their use in war.
