I've heard a psychological thing before about how browns don't act like they're trying to kill each other even when they are in fact trying very hard to kill each other

I sort of suspect that it's a posturing mechanism like how a lot of animals do shockingly brutal shit to each other but it seems tailored by darwin to cause as few fatalities/cripplings as possible

I never quite grasped like those precolonial American "wars" where a couple dozen or a couple thousand people would get raped/sacrificed/etc. except two kingdoms would do it every couple of years for a millennium straight, like everybody lines up in armies and gets their sharp objects and then a minimal amount of violence happens and then they all go home
