The Pentagon has ordered $3.5 billion worth of AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles for a group of countries, including Ukraine. These medium-range missiles are designed to hit aerial targets beyond visual range and are a primary weapon for F-15, F-16, and F-22 fighter jets. Ukraine has previously received AMRAAMs from the US.
